This painting is an acrylic watercolor, meaning that it was done in acrylics, watercolor style. Colors are blue, brown, orange, red (as in redhead, but not much traditional red), yellow, and combinations of the mentioned colors.

A young woman (or girl) is swimming in blue water, which reflects her skins and hair colors. She has reddish, wavy hair and a skin color that is stylized, and almost, but not quite, in the realm of reality. The heart-shaped face is accentuated and pushed just a bit.

The blue water seems to continue behind the swimmer, but actually changes into a abstracted sky. The copper red hair provides a pretty contrast with the blue background.
