Louisiana Kisatchie Surrealism

Description
This acrylic, hand painted piece is a cross between realism and surrealism. While I was painting it, the blue face on the left seemed to want to be there. After I uploaded the piece to the computer, I realized that another face had slipped into the painting, seemingly on its own. It is in the lower right-hand half of the painting.
.................................
Other colors in the piece are yellow, light brown, green, and a hint of purple. I identify with the face on the left, and the three trees represent the God Who is always with me, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
.................................
Louisiana has a reputation for being flat, but that is not quite accurate. There are areas in the Kisatchie wilderness that would surprise those who think of Louisiana as swamps and level lowland.
..................................
This painting was inspired by the rocky trail that I walked in the above mentioned national forest, which consists of over 600,000 acres. It is located in the middle to lower northern part of Louisiana, and encompasses seven parishes--known as counties in other states. Although still technically low land, the rocky bluffs and woodsy, tree-lined trails have a charm all their own and are anything but stereotypical of Louisiana.
