Description
The song, "Luckenbach Texas (Back to the Basics of Love)" was made popular by Waylon Jennings. According to Wikipedia, is was written by Chips Moman and Bobby Emmons. It turns out that Luckenbach is a small area in the Texas Hill Country. The population used to be 3, but someone passed away, and the last I heard, it was 2. This is a popular place, where people gather to play, sing, and listen. And chickens roost in the trees in the evening. I visited briefly while staying in Fredericksburg. I suppose you could say that country music made Luckenbach famous.
