Artist's Description
This is Front Street in Natchitoches--the River Walk. A young woman sits on a park bench, wrapped in a blanket and wearing a head ornament that makes her resemble a hippie from the 1970's. Other figures are walking up and down the sidewalk, whcih seems to glow from the light, and the excitement of the fun to come. On the left, beyond the steep hill, lies the park and Cane River Lake, a horseshoe lake that form when the Red River changed course. There is to be a Mardi Gras parade on this night.

About Lenora De Lude
Explore rough, rocky landscapes and old, crumbling buildings, made of rocks, stone, stucco, and wood. There are paintings of Louisiana and the southwest states of Texas, Colorado, Utah, and New Mexico. You'll also find fanciful works of imagination. These are the paintings of Lenora De Lude. "When I look at the beauty and majesty of creation, I know I can never duplicate the work of the ultimate Master, God Himself. But He has put a creative spark into me, and so I create. Come and see my creations. Pick up a few prints and cards. More will be added soon, and then more after that."
