This is an acrylic painting. Main colors are rust, brown, gray, shades of white, green, and blue. It depicts a typical Louisiana winter. In Louisiana, green never completely goes away, although it is often bested by gray. There is texture visible in some of the wall and on the foreground.

This painting shows part of the ruins of an old building in Stonewall, Louisiana. I read on the net that this building was created as a car dealership in the 1920's. I cannot find that information now. But these modern American ruins are rich with character. I love old buildings, for they are full of history and the nostalgia that we bring with us.
