This print is from an acrylic painting, which is a portrait of Santa Claus. He wears a the typical red outfit and red Santa cap with white fur trimming. This Santa looks rather stern. He looks tough, but nobody is too cool for Christmas.

Like many of us, I have fond, sparkling memories of the days when Santa used to visit our house. On Christmas Eve night, there was a sparkle in the air. When I became an adult, Santa had to cut me loose. This portrait is how I think of Santa. Surely, he laughs and acts jolly, but the man has a serious job. If he just went around laughing and acting all jovial, he'd never get his job done. He is under a lot of pressure.

The colors in this art are red, green, white, and gray. It does have a holiday tone, due to the rich red and cool, jewel-toned green. The white and gray comes in with the beard.
