Artist's Description
In an ethereal outdoor world, an acorn falls--just one acorn. However, you see it as it is falling, falling, and you see it when it lands--all in one art piece. In the artwork, the acorn is currently on the ground, so there it is more substantial, and more deeply colored. The further back into time the acorn goes, the lighter it is, so where you see it at the top of the picture, it is almost clear. That was in the past, and is quickly fading. When the acorn hits the ground, the cap pops off, and that is the end of the sequence.

This fantasy was painted in watercolor on illustration board. It features an airy blue sky and a soft brown ground, which adds to the dreamy quality of the piece. It is intriguing to children and adults alike. It has a long, narrow format, and fits well in spaces that are too small for wider art pieces.

"When I look at the beauty and majesty of creation, I know I can never duplicate the work of the ultimate Master, God Himself. But He has put a creative spark into me, and so I create. Come and see my creations. Pick up a few prints and cards. More will be added soon, and then more after that."
