This is a closeup on the pass in Park Avenue, Arches National Park, at Moab, Utah. The rocks at this park tower into the sky in various shapes; they might remind one of giant statues or monstrous titans. The rock figure near the center of the art resembles a king, looking out over his kingdom. From the other angle, this colossal rock takes on a completely different appearance, earning its name, howling wolf. ..... It is believed that hundreds of years ago, Pueblo and Fremont people lived in the area. In the 18th century, Ute and Paiute tribes were there. Arches National Park is a wonderland of rock creatures, and more than 2000 arches have been counted there. At Arches, you can actually get close enough to touch the rock and walk through various formations. After this artist visited Arches National Park, she was never quite the same.
