This is an abstract piece. Further in the description, I will tell you what I see here, but it may not be what you see. As I was painting, the shapes took on lives of their own, and some things were not evident to me until long after I finished the piece.
..........................................
The original of this artwork is an acrylic painting on stretched canvas. Some of the obvious colors are yellow, blue, tones of brown and orange, and purple. Much of it was done in a watercolor fashion. Below the next line, I will tell you what I see.
............................................
On the left, I see a rock structure, from which a ship's figurehead balances against a blue adn purple sky. Looking up at the figurehead is an abstract woman with long, light brown or red hair. To her right, there is a purple shape that vaguely resembles a dragon. Deep blue birds fly against a distant yellow sky. There is a dark shore and a bit of an ocean.
Explore rough, rocky landscapes and old, crumbling buildings, made of rocks, stone, stucco, and wood. There are paintings of Louisiana and the southwest states of Texas, Colorado, Utah, and New Mexico. You'll also find fanciful works of imagination. These are the paintings of Lenora De Lude. "When I look at the beauty and majesty of creation, I know I can never duplicate the work of the ultimate Master, God Himself. But He has put a creative spark into me, and so I create. Come and see my creations. Pick up a few prints and cards. More will be added soon, and then more after that."
