Artist's Description
In this childlike scene, two chickens--a hen and a rooster-- stand in a fanciful landscape over a pile of orange and yellow candy corn. The rooster is beautiful with a shiny blue breast and multi-colored feathers of blue and red-brown tones. The han standing over the cliff is a bit more understated, with golden brown feathers. The cliff is a wonderful, deep shade of pink.

There is a blue sky with fluffy white clouds. The sun is suggested with yellow streaks. This piece is surrealistic; it is something you might see in a dream, but never see in real life unless a human took pains to set it up. It would take a lot of pain to set up a pink cliff and a pile of candy corn with chickens hovering over it as if ready to gobble it down.

Come and see my creations. Pick up a few prints and cards. More will be added soon, and then more after that."
